The East Granby Fire Department was established in 1929, starting out in one fire house, located on School Street in East Granby.

Chief Flaherty, has been East Granby Fire and Rescue Department's Chief since
April of 2018.   

He has worked in the Fire and Rescue arena for over 43 years.

Assistant, Chief Wolf has been a member of the East Granby Fire and Rescue since 2002. 

He is now filling the position of Assistant Chief, and has served in all positions within the East Granby Fire Department throughout his career.

Deputy Chief Moran has been a member of the East Granby Fire Department
since 2010. 

He is employed in the fire rescue services as a full time fire fighter on the Bridgeport Fire Dept.
